Christopher J. Miller: A graduate of the School of Engineering at the University of Michigan, early in his career Chris worked for a large commercial construction company managing projects and estimating costs for bids. He left construction to join his family’s business, which included a nursing home that was not profitable. Within one year, he turned around that operation and began planning the construction of a new nursing home that redefined the standards for not only nursing home design but also care. He developed a proprietary accounting software package specific to the nursing home industry. After the family business sold the nursing home three years after it opened, Chris left the family business and has been working as an independent IT developer ever since.

Judith Stanford Miller: With undergraduates degrees in Microbiology (The Ohio State University) and Medical Technology (Bowling Green State University), Judy worked in a clinical Microbiology lab at a local hospital before returning to school to earn a Master of Education degree. She developed a self-instructional manual in Clinical Microbiology for Registered Nurses and then taught Biology at a small liberal arts college. A lifelong history buff, she then began developing original content for K-12 students focused on science and history. Observing the difficult integration of technology in K-12 classrooms, Judy returned to school earning a Master of Arts in Educational Technology in 2011 from the University of Michigan. In 2009 after returning from covering the 65th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, Judy decided to focus on WWII history to keep that history alive. After three years of research, in 2025, RET premiered its new documentary: Crosswinds: The Courageous Life of Cornelia Fort. Cornelia was the second woman accepted into the U.S. Army’s new Women’s Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron (WAFS) in 1942 and she was the first woman pilot to die in service to the country. Crosswinds was screened in July 2025 at EAA’s AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Judy wrote and directed the documentary.
